I remember why I stopped opening Tumblr

I decided to give myself a break and re-explore the beautiful world of tumblr… But now all I want to do is lift. Well I guess it’s time to go to the gym then.

By the way. I’m up to about 185 pounds:

Bench: 300
Squat: 375
Deads: 475

just need 25 pounds more on squat and deads to get to the 1200 club.. YEEEE

Starting on my Oly lifts again

School’s getting sorted out, life is getting less stressful. 

Gimme a couple more weeks. I promise I’ll be back, like full time :D

So, an update.  

This year hasn’t been a good one. Thank goodness for my friends and the support of my family.

My last semester in school was horrible. My grandmother passed away this year when I was in school. She and my late grandfather literally raised me and spent all their time teaching my about our Chinese culture, ethics, and morals. I looked up to them and I couldn’t stand the fact that two very important people in my life are now gone. I couldn’t concentrate in my exams the following weeks and my professors weren’t exactly very helpful. I’m recovering from all that, and hopefully I’ll be able to get next semester down pact.

On a fitness note. Nothing much has changed. People say I look a lot more sculpted than before. I’ve moved most of my auxiliaries to 6-8 reps instead of my old 10-12. It’s made a big difference in my look, but my endurance isn’t doing well. I’ve been tired recently so we’ll see how it goes.

I promise all my fitness goals are still on track. I still look at everyone’s tumblr and remind myself of my goals and aspirations.

Absolute Swag had to be put on hold because of the things that has happened. I want to make things right in 2013. Hopefully I can man up soon, and regain that motivation and dedication I had graduating High School. To be honest the school I’m in right now hasn’t really helped… 

Any way, I hope everyone has had a happy holiday! Good luck to everyone and I wish you guys the best for the New Years. I’ll aim for one post a week to get back on track.

I get this question at my school gym way too often “What can I do to look good for this weekend?”

*sigh*

Should I take next week off?

Exams… Still wanna lift, but don’t know if I should. Haven’t taken an off week. well ever. but should I?

Back on my 5x5

And it’s feeling really good. I really don’t know why but I can’t stand doing hypertrophy and cut work. So I guess I’ll just be sticking with 5x5’s forever. haha. Tailoring my diet a little more for bulking now since that is my goal. I really want to be able to achieve 16” arms at least. That would be really nice. So about 5-10 more pounds to go.
